Why a New Blog?

I am afraid that I have made the original blog about family cooking more about cooking in general and a catch-all of recipes, meal suggestions and diet advice.  As my original blog has become a bit cumbersome, I have decided on this as the new idea.  As I do not have a kitchen of my own that is fully functional(I can cook anywhere but this is ridiculous) I decided on the Cucina Rustica and will transfer much of the other blog here.
I plan on a new outdoor kitchen next spring...brick pizza oven and open wood grill like my family had on Salina.
